SERIES II Expedition Tent

Redverz Gear put the comfort back into camping with the Series II Expedition Tent adding to the appeal of the original design which shelters riders, motorbikes and gear in comfort, out of the elements and under one roof.

With two inches more headroom, nearly double the original square vestibule footage and convenient J-door entries, the Series II Expedition Tent, offers you more.  Expedition-grade ripstop nylon ground cloth and floors offer superior protection, while the double wall design of the sleeping bay helps eliminate condensation. Simply put, the Series II offers you more while packing to the same size and weight as the original Tenere tent.
The spacious garage bay, designed for sheltering motorbikes, has evolved far beyond the original vision.  The bay serves as a sheltered utility area for cooking and sitting area for down-time, as well as a storage area, workshop or dressing room with enough height to stand up and change gear.

Footprint for the Series II Expedition Tent.

The Series II Expedition Tent, Footprint. Designed to hook directly under the inner tent to protect the floor in rough terrains, or so tent can be used without inner. Weighs 6oz

Motorcycle Tent footprint. The Tenere Expedition Tent Foot Print to use under inner tent or for use without inner tent. Designed for Adventure Motorcycle Camping. Copyright Redverz Gear.

Footprints extend the life of your tent floor and protect against damaging abrasion.  We recommend using a custom-cut ground cloth designed specifically for the floor plan of your tent, like the Series II Expedition Tent Footprint.  The custom fit effectively avoids water collecting between the tent floor and a foot print during rainy conditions.  In the morning use your foot print as a clean surface where you can fold and roll your tent.

If you want to protect the floor under the sleeping bay AND cover the floor in the garage bay, order two (2).

Our advice:

If a custom ground cloth is not available to use, tuck any excess material under the tent floor.  Excess material that extends beyond the tent's perimeter will catch and collect water.

  1. Walk across America

Posted by Paul Ferraro. www.theroadichose.com on 22nd Feb 2015

This tent is perfect for my journey! I am pushing a cart and to be able to have it inside with me makes all the difference in the world. Quality through out on this tent.
Having this tent as my home for the next 7 months will help to make this trip a bit eaiser.

  2. Walk across America with my cart.

Posted by Paul Ferraro www.theroadichose.com on 22nd Feb 2015

Getting ready to go on a 7 month journey using this tent 4-5 times per week. I've set it up twice once in a real hardy wind. I'm still getting used to setting this up but I can see that it will get eaiser each time.
The quality is built into this tent at every inch. I have not used the ground cloth but plan on using it every time to help preserve the tent.

  3. Excellent product

Great product, seem to be of good quality material and construction. Very easy to put up by one person. Ideal size for carrying on my motorcycle .

  4. Just right for motocamping

Posted by Mike on 30th Aug 2014

Didn't want a tent too big, yet not too small like most out there. The bonus is the vestibule area fits a motorcycle or small trailer by simply rolling it in, and not dealing with the bottom edges of the tent coming up (like bathtub floors in most tents). Being able to store the trailer inside a closed vestibule while taking loop rides in an area adds to security.
Motorcycle gear takes up more space than a typical backpacking tent, so the size of the vestibule is just large enough for putting down gear/boots/helmets with just enough room to spare. Very easy to set up by yourself. Quality of materials and workmanship is very good. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is who knows what improvements could be made like it it sets up and packs down on its own!

  5. Great tent, Fantastic service!

Posted by DagNabitRabbit on 23rd Jun 2014

I received my tent in less then a week, just in time for a weekend dual sport rally. I had a question about the tent so I sent an email and got a call back by a knowledgeable associate within an hour.

I had no trouble putting the tent up by myself, in the rain, at night. Three days of rain and mud and all of my camping gear stayed clean and dry (except what I was wearing on the rides of course).

You've got a great product and you really take care of your customers. I imagine it will be many years before I need a new tent, but you should expect a call from me as soon as I do.

  6. Thank you for such great customer service

Thank you for such a fast turn around on getting our tent to us. We explained we were going on a RTW trip and really wanted the orange tent. Not only did you pick one up from the factory personally, we received it with a week to spare before e leave.

We have just come back from testing the tent, it is everything we could possible want to live out of for 9 months.. Thank you Redverz!
